What's Inside?

Provides the binding properties that allow the mixture to become mouldable when water is added, helping it hold its shape and adhere to suitable surfaces.
Worm Castings
A natural source of organic matter and plant nutrients, supporting the biological and nutritional properties of the growing medium.
Coco Peat
Helps retain moisture and provides organic material within the putty.
Bio Leaf's Selected Nutrients
Included in small amounts to complement the growing medium and support plant development.

How to Use
Step 1 – Prepare
Place the desired amount of dry Soil Putty into a clean mixing container.
Step 2 – Add Water
Slowly add water, mixing thoroughly until the putty reaches your preferred consistency.
For vertical applications, aim for a thick, mouldable consistency that holds its shape without running.
Step 3 – Apply & Shape
Press the putty firmly onto a suitable prepared surface or mould it into planting pockets, textured backgrounds and natural-looking contours.
Step 4 – Add Plants & Decorations
Gently position suitable small plants, moss or decorative natural fibres into or onto the prepared putty. Ensure plants have adequate space for their roots and that their crowns are not buried.
Step 5 – Maintain
Keep the growing medium appropriately moist without allowing it to become waterlogged. Monitor adhesion, plant health and moisture levels as your terrarium establishes.
Bio Leaf Growing Tips
Add water gradually. It's easier to add more than to correct an overly wet mixture.
Test a small area first to check adhesion to your chosen surface.
Avoid excessively thick or unsupported applications.
Choose plants suited to humid conditions and the moisture-retaining properties of the putty.
Avoid placing plants requiring substantial root aeration directly into dense, saturated putty.
Keep out of direct water flow, which may soften or erode the material over time. Light misting has shown to be fine.
